Please note: only state funded secondary schools in England are eligible for Partner School status. Independent schools are warmly invited to become Link Schools, to host (and teachers to attend) Physics Network Coordinator workshops across the UK or have teachers attend our regional network days.
All secondary schools in England are eligible for Link School status - receiving Stimulating Physics Network support to host TLC-led CPD sessions for teachers in their local area, establish sustainable professional networks and support the development of school-based training.
Applications for Lead Schools are now open
A nominated physics teacher from your school will be seconded by the Institute of Physics (IOP) as a
School-based Physics Coach for one day a week, starting in September 2018.
Salary costs and expenses will be covered up to £10,000 per year.
Successful applicants will be informed in January, and unsuccessful candidates can expect
feedback in the New Year.
